March Opening Design Team Challenge

Design Team Challenge

Starting March with a large card for this fortnights entry for Through the Craft Room Door.

I instantly fell in love with the Angel Stamp from Eureka by Stamp On It.

The digi stamp is delicate in its detail and very captivating and in essence I felt that it stood out without the need to heavily enhance with colour.

I really enjoyed the mixed media element of the card and I really should do it more often its great fun, accept for the ink stained fingers of course!

Using Distress Ink, (Tumbled Glass), Craft Buddy Watercolour Spray (Indigo) and Pretty Gets Gritty Explosion Powder (Aphrodite) to create a slight shiny background. I applied a mix of Nuvo Crystal Drops (Buttermilk) and Nuvo Glitter Drops (Yellow Bird) through a Tim Holtz stencil to create the rays and Distress Ink (Blueprint Sketch) using a Lavinia Stamps Hills Stencil to create the cloud affect.

The Angel: Nuvo Glimmer Paste (Moonstone) to add texture to the Upper part of the wings, and Spectrum Noir Aqua Pens, Chestnut, Sunflower, Peach and Sepia, along with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Ink (Sleigh Bell) and Spectrum Noir Metallic Pen ( Ancient Bronze).

Sentiment Stamp by for the Love of Stamps.
